James “Jimmy” Swaney, age 59, of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on July 21, 2025, in West Bend, Wisconsin. Born in Morristown on September 28, 1965, Jimmy spent his life touching the hearts of everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Jackie Swaney; his children, Ashlee (Ross) Williams, James Matthew Swaney (Alexis), and Stephanie Phillips; and his cherished grandchildren: Dylan and Skyler Phillips, Kylie and Landon Williams, JR Swaney, and Aaliyah Swaney.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Marie B. and Robert Swaney, and his brother, Bobby Swaney.
Jimmy proudly served in the United States Army and later built a life on the open road as an over-the-road truck driver, working for MDS. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found with a fishing pole in hand or enjoying nature’s quiet beauty. He also appreciated life’s simple pleasures—especially a good meal and a late-night laugh with Cartoon Network.

His legacy of love, laughter, and compassion lives on in his family and in the countless lives he touched along the way.
