Ina R. Ball, age 91, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Knoxville, TN while under UT Hospice care. She had been in declining health for several months due to a stroke and a fall.
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother. She was born into humble beginnings in Newport, TN and lived most of her life in Morristown, TN as well as several years in Cleveland, Ohio and Jefferson County, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel C. and Sara Essie Kyker-Clevenger of Newport, TN. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family of six children, 3 brothers and two sisters to pass away. She now goes home to join them: Ernest Clevenger (Edna), Mary Florence Clevenger-Bryant (James), Stanley) Clevenger (Margaret), Georgie Clevenger-Ball (Lloyd) and William R (Ross) Clevenger (Ada); also, her husband of 31 years, Edsel Hoyt Ball.
She is survived by her three daughters, Pat Templin Coffey of Russellville, TN, Sandy Ball Beets (Ray) of Knoxville, TN, and Jane Blocker (Dana) of Pawley’s Island, SC; grandchildren, Donnie (Rebecca) Coffey and Joel (Angie) Coffey both of White Pine, TN, Paul Beets of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren; Christopher (Mary) Coffey, Tyler (Allie) Coffey, Chesney (Austin) Coffey, Makenzie Coffey; one great-great-grandson, Kellen Coffey; along with her friend and dear companion of many years, Frank Vaught of Knoxville, TN.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
