Geza Papp

Geza Papp, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his home.  He was retired from Shelby Williams and was a member of Alpha Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laszlo and Ilona Mate Papp; sister, Irma Banto.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaretta Balazs Papp; daughter, Magdalena (Frank) Gal and their children, Melanie and Andrew; daughter, Eva (Tamas) Fodor and their children, Thomas and Naomi; brother, Lajos (Joli) Papp and their children, Eunika, Eniko (Joseph) Jenaki, and their child Daniel.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 6-7 p.m. at Alpha Baptist Church.  A celebration of life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Heath Smith officiating.  Graveside/interment service will be Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alpha Baptist Church.
