Geraldine Frances (Trent) Greene

Geraldine Frances Greene, age 70, of Morristown, gained her angel wings on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System with her family by her side.  She was a faithful member of Greenes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  She and her husband, Jack, ran Jack’s Auto Parts until her health started declining.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Her family meant everything to her.  Geraldine was a very brave and courageous woman during her sickness.  She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Wilburn Trent; brother, Harold Trent; sisters, Wilma Morgan, Barbara Moore and Christine Ramsey.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. Jack Greene; children, Jack Arnold (Ashley) Greene, Larry (Susan) Greene, and Lee (Tina) Greene; Frances Houser; grandchildren, Jackson, David, Rocky, Arnold, Joey, Henry, Jessica, Jennifer, Megan, and Whitney; step-grandchildren, Arron, Mathew, Emily, Tyler, and Bubby; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger(Jeannie) Trent; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Greenes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Doug Livesay officiating.  Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
