Faye Eva (Hicks) Etter

Faye Eva Hicks Etter, of Dandridge, born November 3, 1940 passed peacefully surrounded by her children Monday, May 29, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Elsworth Etter; youngest son, Barry Marcus Dockery; and grandson, Shannon Carter; siblings, Thelma Duignan, Katie Duignan, Jean Woolard, and Harold Hicks.

She is survived by her children, Bernadine Widdifield, Rita Kitts, Marty Dockery, Vanessa Bell, Eric Dockery, Marsha Thompson, and Angela Dockery; brother, John Hicks; grandchildren, Stephanie, Amy, Victor, Misty, Alex, Tyler, Kassy, Timmy, Amber, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Nic, Emily, Cash, Serenity, Finley, Bryliex, Lily, and Caly Anne.

Faye enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and collecting angels and butterflies.

Special family-friends, Ann and Johnny Bowen; and special niece, Roxanne Bowen.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4-6 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Cecil Mills officiating.  Family and friends will meet Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Westview Cemetery in Jefferson City for a 2:00 P.M. graveside/interment service.
