Emma Jean (Cavagna) Johnson

Emma Jean Johnson passed in peace with her family by her side at the age of 94 on Sunday, January 28, 2024.  She was a resident of Elkland, PA where she spent her summers and a resident of Morristown, TN where she spent her winters.  Emma never met a stranger and loved to tell her stories to anyone who would listen.  She was an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Johnson; sisters, Edith Smith, and Louise Smith; brother, Albert Cavagna.

She is survived by her children, Nancy (David) Hufford, of Lake Mary, FL, Karen (Steve) Harwood, of Talbott, TN, John (Susan Pollord) Johnson, of Morristown, TN; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3-4 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that you plant a flower in your garden in remembrance of Emma.
