Earnest Roosevelt Jordan, Jr.

Earnest Roosevelt Jordan, Jr., beloved husband, father, papaw, brother and son, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 27, 2022.  Jr enjoyed spending time with his family, camping trips, and repairing tractors all over East Tennessee. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Wheeler Jordan; children, Pam (Ronnie) Rainey, Patty (Brad) Shepard; Dustin (Brittany) Jordan, Danny (Mandy) Jordan; grandchildren, Chelsey, Jordan, Austin, Levi, Alana, Zaylee and Ryker; mother, Mary Helen Shultz; father, Earnest Roosevelt Jordan, Sr.; siblings, Melinda (Rick) Sams, Rosetta (Calvin) Watson, Tommy (Sherry) Jordan, Gene (Linda) Jordan, Timmy (Angie) Jordan, Regina (Brent) Gregg; he was also a proud father to several adopted and foster children throughout the years.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Tecky Hicks and Rev. Woody Tackett officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Mohawk.
