Doyle Landon Bowlin

Doyle Landon Bowlin, age 90, of Morristown, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at The Heritage Center.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked at Lea Industries for over 49 years.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Timothy Charles Bowlin, and Michael Bowlin; parents, Samuel Everett and Mae Clonce Bowlin; brothers, T A Bowlin and his wife, Sally, Junior Bowlin and his wife, Cecil, Reese Bowlin and his wife, Betty, Danie Bowlin and his wife, Namoie; sisters, Evie and her husband, R G Kitts, Betty and her husband, Cecil Phillips, Hattie and her husband, Jack Campbell, Jessie and her husband, Mo Hill, Mary and her husband, Ray Holt; Lizzie and her husband, Roy Hayes.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Fox Bowlin; son, Samuel Lynn Bowlin and wife, Dawn; sister, Marie (Tommy) Rickard; brother, Homer (Glenna) Bowlin; grandchildren, April Morey, Daniel Bowlin, Amber Bowlin, Jessica and Kim; daughter-in-law, Alta Bowlin; very special friends, Mark and Amy Ross, Carl and Connie Mills, and Carolyn Wilson; his very special little dog, “Bo”.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurse’s “Teachers” and staff in Unit 2 for all their love, care and concern they showed Doyle during his sickness.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 1, 2025 from 5 – 7 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating.
