Delmas Lynn Rose

Delmas Lynn Rose, age 77, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at UT Medical Center.

Delmas was a loving father, grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him.  He loved drag racing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny Rose; parents, James and Helen Harville Rose; brother, Delbert Rose; grandson, Bobby Allen Gulley; along with other loving members of the family.

He is survived by his children, Penny (Rick) Evans, Peggy (Kenneth) Fannon, brother, Larry (Sarah) Rose, and their son, Jeremiah; grandchildren, Olivia Evans, Nikki and Matthew Majors, and Dustin Morgan; along with several great-grandchildren and other family members and special friends; his beloved dog, “Boy.”

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. John Ricketts officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
