David Smith Obituary

David Lynn Smith, age 70, of Morristown, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 after suffering from a stroke at home. He passed away peacefully at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. David was born September 15, 1951. He served in the US Army where he was honorably discharged after his tour in Vietnam.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul N. and Mary L. Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Katherine Knight; son, Joey Lynn Smith; brother, Robert (Mary Louise) Smith; uncle, Charles Craine; along with several special nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
