David Harold Lane

David Harold Lane, age 69, of Morristown, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at his home.  He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and he attended Montvue Baptist Church.  He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. 

He worked for Universal Bedroom, Masonite, Clayton (Lux Doors).  He loved working on Mopar cars.  He always said, “Mopar or no car.”

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Daniel Lane; brother, Donnie Lane.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marilyn Hipshire Lane; father, James Carroll Lane; daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Cansler; granddaughter, Macy Jarnigan; great-grandson, Rowen Huckaby; step-children, Tracy (Robert) Still, and Kevin (Sarah) Kirkpatrick; step-grandchildren, Jessica (Kevin) Todd;  Mikayla and Cole Still; step-granddaughter, Serana Todd.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:30 P.M. at Montvue Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. Odell Davidson officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
