David Walter Ferrier

David Walter Ferrier, age 80, of Morristown, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  He lived in Clinton, Connecticut for 40 years before moving to Morristown. He loved his family unconditionally, and loved to tell a story or in his words “spin yarns”.  He worked hard for most of his life.  Due to a short illness, he retired from being a security guard and working with special needs young adults.  He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine K. Ferrier; parents, Stanley and Mabel Geeren Ferrier; grandson, Antonio Capece.

He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Timothy) Caffey, and Pamela Ferrier; son, Albert David Ferrier; grandchildren, John (Sarah) Morgan, Ashely (Russell) Quade, Timothy Morgan, Matthew Capece and Izik Ferrier; 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Don Lamb officiating.  entombment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
