David Dickerson

David Dickerson, age 76, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at his home.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He worked at Anchor Brush until its closing and then he worked at JTekt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Edward and Beatrice Mink Dickerson; son, Todd Dickerson; brother, Eddie Dickerson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carolyn Dickerson; children, Scott “Heather” Dickerson, Jason “Amanda” Shockley, and Michael Shockley; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Hughes.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2024 from 5 -7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Family and friends will meet Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:45 am at Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 12-noon graveside/interment service with Rev. Chris Burrell officiating.
