Darlene Bolden (Collins) Reed

Darlene Bolden Reed, age 68, of Morristown, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.  She was a faithful member of Parkway Missionary Baptist Church where she loved to attend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Reed; son, Johnathan Bolden; parents, Garrett K. and Ollie Bolden Collins; 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Chuckie (Cathy) Long, Amy Crabill, Johnnie Long, and April (Benjamin) Speer; grandchildren, Lakisha Artica, Elijah Murrillo, Braxton Long along with several other grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Marie Bolden; sisters, Geneva Bolden, Gearlen Lipe, and Mary Ivy; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Elkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
