Dallas Vernon White, III, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the age of 47, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.
Dallas was born on July 31, 1977, to Peggy Helen Fortney White and Dallas Vernon White, Jr. He lived a life marked by resilience, love, and deep devotion to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christina White, who stood by his side through every trial and triumph; their cherished children, Airiona, Abrial, Stephanie, Destiny, Kierra, Isaiah, and Nevaeh; sister, Rhonda White, of West Virginia; sister-in-law’s, Danielle Garcia, and Katrina (Paul) Hall; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Throughout his life, Dallas faced numerous medical challenges, including many surgeries and ongoing heart complications. Despite these hardships, his spirit remained unshaken. His strength and determination were an inspiration to those around him.
A pivotal moment in his heart journey came with the implantation of an LVAD, which extended his time on earth and allowed him to create more memories with those he loved most. His wife and children were the light of his life and it was through them that he found purpose, joy, and healing in the midst of his struggles.
Dallas was a man of generosity and compassion, and even in his final moments, he thought of others. It was his wish to be and organ donor, a final act of giving that will help others live fuller, healthier lives – a testament to be the kind of man he was.
Dallas will be remembered for his strength, his deep love for his family, and the legacy of selflessness he leaves behind.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 13, 2025 from 2 – 3 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. James Tullock officiating.
