Clarence DeWayne (Pappy) Bittinger, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024 with his wife, Mary Ann by his side.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Gail Bittinger; son, Kenneth Eugene Bittinger.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bittinger; sister, Jean Bish; brother, Russell (Rose) Bittinger; daughter Lesa Schultz (Chuck); sons, Curt (Barb) and Greg Bittinger; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special friends, Jimmy, and Beth Ballinger.
DeWayne was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, where he attended regularly before his illness. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who enjoyed entertaining people with numerous stories and memories of his past experiences. He enjoyed horse trading, buying, selling, and trading almost anything. He was a master mechanic with unlimited knowledge of mechanical skills which he loved sharing with his sons and grandsons.
The family would like to say thank you to the staff of Jefferson Park in White Pine for everything they did to help Clarence during his time there.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Brewer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lebanon Baptist Church.
