Charles Dewayne Vaughn

Charles Dewayne Vaughn, age 77, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.  He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston, and Velora Pierce Vaughn; sister, Anita Vaughn Smith; brother-in-law, James Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Horton Vaughn; daughters, Barbara Vaughn, and Amanda (Tommy) Alexander; grandchildren, Zane, Zeke, Zebo, and Zep Grubb, Dylan, Sophie, and Ethan Alexander; niece, Deard (Satch Dalton) Beard; nephew, Gary (Sharon) Smith; along with several other family members.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1-2 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow with Rev. Bryan Blair and Rev. Brian Dotson officiating.  Military hornors will be presented.
