Obituary

Charles E. Jackson, age 69, of White Pine, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center.  He served in the army during the Vietnam war.  He was a native of Cocke County and a self-employed businessman.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Jackson; parents, James Chester and Geneva Phillips Jackson; sisters, Mary Wrenn, Della Parks and Judy Branning.

He is survived by his daughter, Abby Jackson Dohrman; special companion, Maureen Warwick; brothers, Alfred (Brenda) Jackson and Delmer (Brenda) Jackson; sisters, Wanda (Jerry) Brandt and Doris (Frank) Hall; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Manson Lee officiating.  Military graveside services will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at   10:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
