Cecil "Maxine" (Collins) Dalton

Cecil “Maxine” Dalton, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2024 at her home.  She was a member of Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Hodge; mother, Virgie Collins; brother, Gary Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Dalton; daughter, Marsha (Jerry) Scalf; grandchildren, Trevor (Makenzie) Scalf, and Lacie Mae Scalf; great-grandchildren, Luna, Tennessee, and Townsend; sister, Carol Roberts; brothers, Gerald Cameron, and Bobby Lynn Cameron; along with several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 9, 2024 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. J.J. Harris officiating.  Graveside/interment service will be Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Bent Creek Cemetery.
