Carolyn Faye (Collins) Dickerson

Carolyn Faye Dickerson, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. She was retired from Wal-Mart Vision Center after working several years.

She was a loving, mother, and grandmother.  The highlight of her day was spending time with her grandchildren.  She also loved to ride her motor cycle with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Dickerson, who died in 2024 after 25 years of marriage; parents, Robert Lee and Osa Mae Collins; brothers, Lynn Collins, Bobby Collins, and infant brother, Robert Charles Collins.

She is survived by her sons, Scott “Heather” Dickerson, Jason “Amanda” Shockley, and Michael Shockley; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma “Jimmy” Ventrca, Ruth Edwards, Judy Williams, and Gladys Wolfe; brother, Marvin “Carol” Collins; along with several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 27, 2025 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 5-7 P.M.  Graveside/interment services will be Friday, March 28, 2025 at Hamblen Memory Gardens at 2:00 P.M.
