Carl Wayne Hensley, age 68, of Greeneville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his home. He was born April 3, 1957 in Marion, Indiana. He was a member of Gods Church on Snyder Lane in Greeneville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn M. Parkins Wadell; father, Paul B. Hensley; brother, Donald R. Hensley; sisters, Nancy J. Hensley Bailey, and Amy G. Hensley Sybrant; brother-in-law, Randy L. Green.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Ann Hensley; son, Nick (Charles) Myrick; daughter, Rachel Reichley; son, Joshua (Tiffany) Lane and family; daughter, Autum (Brandon) Dagen and family; brothers, Jay Hensley and family, Dennis (Denny) Hensley; sister, Mary (Tommy) Hensley and family; along with several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; honorable mentions, Clayton (Deborah) Gosnell and family, Bonnie Green and family, David (Ethel) Stills and family; friends, Lester (Elaine) Darnell, and Junior Banks; honorary, doctors and nurses at the VA in Mountain Home, Gentiva Hospice Care, and all the people at Gods Church, and Pastor Jerry Williams.
A military graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 4:30 pm at Burnetts Chapel Cemetery, 1555 White Sands Road, Greeneville, TN. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1-3 pm at God's Church, 65 Snyder Lane, Greeneville, TN, with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
