Bruce was a kind and loving person, who will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He was one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet, and he always knew how to make you feel better and put a smile on your face. Bruce would lend a helping hand to any person on the planet, and due to this loving nature, he had an abundance of friends across the nation. He enjoyed talking about history and was an avid gardener. Bruce was very creative and artistic, and he loved to play the guitar and write his own songs. He even formed his own rock-n-roll band, Destiny, playing at venues throughout the 1970’s – 1980’s. Football was his absolute favorite sport, and he was a giant University of Virginia Cavaliers Fan. Following retirement, he became a University of Tennessee football enthusiast. Bruce was passionate about his roots and where he came from, and very proud of his home state Tennessee.
An intimate service for family and friends will be held at the gravesite of his parents at Emma Jarnagin Cemetery, Morristown, TN on the Sabbath Sunday of June 5th, 12:30 P.M.
