Brenda Kaye Jarnagin

Brenda Kaye Jarnagin, age 78, of Whitesburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at her home.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.J. and Mary Irene Hurley Jarnagin; brother, Wallace Dean Jarnagin; grandparents, Thomas and Sarah Hurley, and Ida Jarnagin.

She is survived by her son, Chadd (Misty) Jarnagin of the home; her loving sister, Carolyn Jarnagin; niece, Melissa (Harold) Musick; nephews, Shannon and James Jarnagin, Landon (Elizabeth) Gibson; great-niece, Alyssa (David) Musick; great-nephew, Cole Gibson and fiancé, Reeanna; great-great niece, Oakley Mae Gibson; great-niece, Natalie Jarnagin; sister-in-law, Barbara Jarnagin; mother to Alyssa and Cole, Stacy Thaxton.

A private funeral will be held at Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025.  Interment will follow at Bent Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg.
