ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 22 OF 2021 BOBBY
“KYLE” SHELTON, TREASURED HUSBAND,
FATHER OF TWO, SON, BROTHER, AND
FRIEND LEFT THIS WORLD AT AGE 31.
Born November 3, 1989 to Sandra Hall and Bobby Shelton. He grew up a true southern boy playing in the mountains and the creeks. He graduated Cosby High School in 2008. Shortly after he met the love of his life, Katie (Lane) Shelton. They welcomed their first son, Kooper Isaiah Shelton to the world and raise him and his brother, Jasper Pinion with as much unconditional love and fun that you could fit into a home.
Kyle was a good-natured man that was most at home on the banks of a river with a fishing pole in his hand. He would never let a conversation die. Instead, every silence would be filled with quick witted comments and whole-hearted belly laughs. To know him was to have him as a friend. He frequented any place he could get his tires muddy and the less phone reception the better. His legacy will not be a grand estate or fancy things, it will be in the fact that he made sure his children were happy as much as humanly possible. His legacy will be in the sunsets on top of the mountains when the wind rustles your hair and in the embers of a burning bonfire. He spent every last breath trying to keep the wolves away for those he loved, more than he knew how to.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. and Sally Hall and Bobby Shelton Sr.
Survived by his wife, Katie Shelton; sons, Kooper Shelton and Jasper Pinion; mom, Sandra Hall; fathers Bobby Shelton and Marvin Green; Nanny, Faye Johnson; sister, Valerie Buckner; brothers, Marvin Green, Jr, “Bubby” (Brooke), and Malley Green; niece, Kyleigh Wall; nephews, Kam and Karsyn Buckner, and Kaden Green; as well as a host of family members and special friends, George Bryant and Gabriel Ball.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date that has yet to be determined.
Arrangements by Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
