Betty Sue (McDaniel) Towles

Betty Sue Towles, age 91, of Russellville, died peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Friday, August 2, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Towles; son, Terry Lee McDaniel; parents, Harley and Amanda Jane Tate McDaniel; siblings, George McDaniel, Jr (Sue) McDaniel, Charles (Jackie) McDaniel, Veron Herrell, and Yvonne (Frank) Spoone.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Wise and Lori (David) Dossenback; daughter-in-law, Judy McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Matthew, and Noach Dossenback; sisters, Ola (Jerry) Keller, and Nettie Lampkins; brother, Jimmy McDaniel; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, Interim Home Health, and her neighbor, Deann Long for all the love and care they showed Betty during her sickness.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Hamlet officiating.  Family and friends will meet at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11:45 am for a 12-noon graveside/interment service.
