Betty Jean (Clement) Bales

Betty Jean Bales, age 91, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the home of her daughter.  She was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a very loving and kind hearted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Bales; parents, Tom and Gladys Barnard Clement; sisters, Martha McDaniel, Grace Britt, Wanda Bunch, Linda Snowden, and Nancy Carol Clement; brothers, Tommy Clement, and Billy Patterson Clement.

She was a loving mother to, Richard (Sheila) Bales, Rita (Greg) Smith, and Lisa (Zak) Nicely; grandchildren, Chase (Leanna) Goins, Alexis (Darvia) DuBose, Jesse (Monica) Bales, Jason (Brandi) Bales, Jamie (Arron) Wells, and Preston (Hope) Smith; great-grandchildren, Cam and Cairo Goins, Talen and Greyson DuBose, Zalee Bales, Jordan Bales, Jasmine Bales, and Tucker Smith; step-granddaughter, Zoey Trent; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members and her little dog, BoBo,

Family and friends will meet at Hamblen Memory Gardens on  Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm graveside/interment service.
