Barbara Ann (Smith) Rickard

Barbara Ann Richard, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 08, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Harbin; father, John Lillard; step-father, Alex Harbin; son, Brian Vaughn; ex-husband, Earl Vaughn; sisters, Marie Manning, and Georgie Grimsley; brother, Jack Wilson; and grandson, James Carroll.

She is survived by her children, Norma (Billy) Miller, Melissa (Eric) Whitaker, and Nelson Harbin; grandchildren, Tonya Carroll, Heather Johnson, and Matt Duncan; great-grandchildren, Destiny Miller, Cheyenne Johnson, Austin Smith, and Noah Woodard; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12 – 2 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M.  with Rev. Ken Massey officiating.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
