Barbara L. "Bobbie" (Courtney) Lovin

Barbara “Bobbie” Courtney Lovin, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at her home in Mooresburg.  She was a member of Mooresburg United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn D. Lovin; daughter, Stasha Lovin; parents, Lon King and Nancy Katherine Riche Courtney; siblings, James Courtney, Lon “Kayo” Courtney, Vivian Price; Dot Hays; Christine Henton; Nancy Courtney, Billie Courtney; several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Stephen) Bales; her special nieces, Myrna (Gary) Long, Deana (Ronald) Courtney, Courtney Long, Kaylea (Logan) Greene and Emersyn Greene; along with several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Graveside/Interment services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hills Cemetery in Kingsport with Rev. Brandon Christian and Rev. Daniel Christian officiating.

The family would like to say thank you to UT Hospice for all the concern, love, and care they showed to her during her sickness.
