Austin Shayne Brooks

Austin Shayne Brooks, age 29, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at his home.  He was a beloved son, grandson, and friend who will be missed by many.  He was a member of God’s Light House Church in Mosheim.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward A. Brooks; special aunt, Sissy Swatzell.

He is survived by his grandmother, Linda Brooks; mother, Angela Brooks McAbee; step-father, Glenn McAbee; sister, Amanda McAbee (Jonathan) Thomas; niece, Annika Jade Thomas; grandmother, Kim Holland; grandfather, Terry Holland; special friends, Josh Collins who was like a brother, and Garett; along with other family members and friends.

A graveside/interment service will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville.
