Albert Jacob Weidman, Jr.

Albert J. Weidman, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Life Care Center of Morristown.

He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and an honorary member of the Rescue Squad.  For several years he led the Morristown Christmas Parades carrying the American Flag.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Jacob and Virginia Ballard Weidman, Sr.; sisters, Ann Brown, and Susie Reed; brother, Edward Weidman.

He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Weidman, and Jean Anderson; brother, Jack (Marilyn) Weidman; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Kenny Boling officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. at Liberty Hill Church Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside/interment service.
